Kreateor Sunglasses

Kreateor's first eyewear drop had to feel collectible on day one, with no archive to lean on. The answer was one 3D model, built once and pushed three ways: campaign renders, a live store viewer, and an Instagram try-on filter that reached 49.7k organic opens.

Context

Sell a debut frame as a collectible, not a product shot.

The brief was one line: produce visuals for a new high-end streetwear product.

High-end streetwear runs on perceived scarcity and craft. A first eyewear drop has none of the usual scaffolding. No archive, no waitlist, no proof anyone wants it. Stills alone would read as a catalogue, which is the opposite of collectible.

What the brief missed was the channel. A streetwear buyer decides on a phone, mid-scroll, without the frame in hand. The problem was never image quality. It was the distance between seeing a render and trusting how the frame sits on a face. Closing that gap meant going past photography into 3D and AR, so the buyer could rotate it, place it in a room, and try it on before paying.

One model, built in Blender, became the hero renders, the in-store interactive viewer, and an Instagram try-on filter. One asset, three touchpoints.

The system was built around a single base model across four colorways.

The same geometry, optimized and textured for real time, drives the interactive viewer on the store and an Instagram AR filter for virtual try-on. Building once and deploying everywhere kept the frame consistent from campaign still to live try-on.

The two layers do different jobs. The render set sells craft: macro detail on the engraved temple, each colorway shot front, side, and three-quarter. The AR layer sells fit and ownership. Renders earn the click, AR earns the trust.

The Instagram filter reached 49.7k organic opens worldwide.
